The Embassy Suites in Old Sac is really really nice!! If that’s the Hyatt Downtown on J street across from the Denny’s then that one looks nice too!!

I think the Sheraton Grand stands as the best “full service” property because it’s the newest…The Business Journal indicated a few months back that the Hyatt was going to be updating their rooms – adding flat screens, removing large furniture, carpeting etc. Confirming you were assigned one of these rooms is recommended.
I’ve seen the condos at the new Marriott/Residence Inn property and that facility looks incredible. Might be worth a look. ttp://www.marriott.com/hotels/hotel-phot…
About to be opened this month is The Citizen, an upscale boutique property. Joire de Vivre Hospitality, who’s opening it, has an excellent reputation for these properties. I didn’t see a website for it, but read a blog indicating they’re taking reservations. http://www.sacbee.com/172/story/1302472.html
There are other unique properties throughout the Midtown and Downtown neighborhoods of Sacramento – consider staying at a B&B (ie, Amber House http://www.amberhouse.com/ or Sterling Hotel http://www.sterlinghotel.com/main.html)…or on the river at the Delta King (DeltaKing.com)
