Help Planning A Trip To Disney In Cali. In 3 Wks?

I never went on vacation b4 or planned a trip. Were going from cleveland ohio to wherever disney is in California for around 6 days. My aunt lives there & is taking care of the hotel reservations so that’s covered. I read online about tickets for plane & park, but i was trying to find out how many suitcases/bags per person allowed & things u can bring besides dry food, clothes, toothbrushes, toothpaste etc. Were going to the travel agency this week , so we get this right. My questions r stated above & how much food cost, whats a great place to visit, etc. I never been out of the state of OH. besides to Canada when i was 18 & now i’m 31 with an 11 year old son. Yeah i know boring , but this is r first trip & want to make the best of it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated with anything. Thanks so much & please no stupid feedback. Thanks again

Please stop referring to California as “Cali”. We understand that you who live on the east coast think it is cute to call California “Cali”, but Cali is a drug city in Colombia, South America. Most Californians feel that comparing our state to that place is INSULTING.
California is the most expensive state to live in. Take the prices of anything you would need here and add 50% to what it would cost in Ohio. Disneyland is a fun place, and your son will have a great time, but it is expensive.
California residents get a discount. Why not ask your Aunt to get tickets for you? It could save a little. As for your travel, a travel agent will charge a commission. Look for your best deal on one of the many travel consolidators then look for the same flight/hotel on their own website, it is often (but not always) a bit less. Fly to LAX, not Anaheim. The fares to LAX are usually less than Orange County. There is a shuttle from LAX to Disneyland, or have you Aunt pick you up.
Have fun on your vacation to California. Oh, I almost forgot. If you want sunny weather wait until after the 2nd week of June. We almost always have overcast, chilly weather from mid May to mid June.
